Alright, what did we eat for Easter dinner??? SIGH....
I actually ate 2 bon-bons and didn't get sick at all.... granted they weren't eaten at the same time--- and the peanut butter in the middle at least had protein so it wasn't PURE SUGAR I was eating I guess..... other than that, I had a little single serving box of smacks cereal for breakfast with about 1/2 cup HEB Mootopia 2% milk - lactose free, less sugar, less fat, and more protein than regular milk - I LOVE IT! and I went to my parent's for lunch and ate over the course of about 2 hours a handful of sour cream and onion tater chips... maybe 3/4 cup cornbread dressing, half of a homemade yeast roll - I agree with the other post about those homemade rolls - they are so irresistable... some turkey breast and green beans and a little chunk of the canned cranberry sauce... I'm not the best at measuring exactly what I eat.... so that's as close as I can estimate... and for dinner I had a handful of popcorn shrimp - I know I know bad me cuz they r fried and I ate maybe half of a side salad with ranch dressing.... does anyone besides me think I'm eating too badly?!?!?!?! I never get sick and I eat alot less than I used to!!!
Hey, I think I did great for Easter Dinner.
We had both Ham & Turkey, so had a little of both of them, smashed taters with gravy and half a roll with butter. Got too full with the bread, but loved the taste of it dipped in the gravy....... later nibbled on some ham, and actually tried a small 1" slice of apple pie, and did fine. First sugars since surgery. Then later tried the cherry pie, that did not even taste good, so I dumped it out.
Hope you all enjoyed not only the food, but family and friends too.

I know I felt like I didn't do the dinner my mother in law fixed justice. Oh well I did very well. I had a couple of thin sliced deli ham and 1 slice turkey. 1 tablespoon of greenbeens and 1 teaspoon of macaroni salad. I feel like I did really well. I felt full but not stuff and was satisfied. I also had one piece of sugar free candy that morning.

I think I did ok
We are italian, so we do it up.
I ate the stuffing out of the meat lasagna (no pasta since I don't really like it)
3 oz of antipasti salad
Half a slice of Ham w/sugar glaze
and a tablespoon of mashed potatoes.
I did well until dessert came out. My Mom made an apple pie with splenda (God Bless her) and I had a sliver of that, and my friend made a sugar free cheesecake (so she told me). There is no way it was sugar free or even fat free. Ya know when you can just taste the difference. I had 2 bites of it and realized she was wrong. I am so thankful I didn't eat it all.
Happy Spring everyone
