ok, in the past I would have eaten like at least 2 plates of Easter dinner, I was no where close to that, although I did eat more than I normally do. Hope I didn't stretch the pouch. Here's what I had. 1 slice ham ( it had the sugar glaze on it) 1 salad w/ fat free catalina dressing 1tbs cheesy potatoes 1 tbs baked bean ( the kind with brown sugar in them) I am a little dissapointed I didn't dump. Maybe I didn't eat enough of the sugar. Definately going to get back on track tomorrow though. I was good and ate no dessert though!!

Well, I picked most of the meat off a bar b qued chicken leg quarter about a tablespoon of baked beans 1 teaspoon of potato salad and here goes the bad part..... 1 homemade yeast roll. My brother in law makes awesome homemade rolls. Theyre about the size of a canned biscut or a little larger. I ate at least 3/4 of one and then brought one home which I later added cheese a 2 thin slices if delt ham to and ate 3/4 or it!! I also ate one of my daughters mini chocolate eggs.!!! I dont dump either I was a very bad girl!! Mary

Well, I was actually not feeling well from two dumping sessions in the last 24 hours! I am perplexed as to what caused them...I didn't eat sugars or fats or even excess carbs!! I have been a good girl...I promise! Uhhggg!!! So, anyway we didn't have a "traditional" type of Easter dinner...never do "traditional" for any holiday (we like to be rebels) LOL. We had beef stew cooked in the crock pot. 1/2 cup of beef stew~ 1 chunk of potato, 3 baby carrots, 3 pieces of celery, 4 pieces of stew meat, and the broth Not very exciting...but it was easy on the pouch. May even have more later if I'm hungry. Hugs...Suz

Was it just me or was it weird not being able to eat like in the past? I know it is good that we can't but I missed it. I was looking at everyone else's plate yesterday and on Saturday night when I went to a birthday party and thinking...I feel so weird with this little stuff on my plate and I wanted to be able to eat more! Yesterday, I had some green beans, about 1/2 oz of spiral ham w/o glaze, and 1/2 oz of turkey and a spoon of so very cheesy squash casserole. Boy did I want a piece of cake though. This weekend has been the first time that I have really missed not being able to eat and it was hard. I think I am just now coming to my mourning food stage and it is going to drive me batty. My head still wants to eat two or three plates of food...when my stomach is not going for it and the head gets sad. Oh well, I am glad I can't eat more and happy that I am no longer over 300 lbs! So it is definitely worth it. I ate this for lunch and then I had the more green beans and ham for dinner when i got home last night and plan to have some for lunch too. See you guys later.

Sorry you were not feeling to well Suz! Stephanie - I have to agree with you. I wanted a piece of carrot cake really badly! But feel great today that I didn't have it!!! My head also wanted more food, but my stomach was satisfied! We'll get used to this eventually I hope!

I have to say i was a good girl! LOL I had some chicken... 3 oz, some broccoli with cheese, i had a taste of some 5 cheese pasta, 2 small pieces of asparugus, and fruit. I thought it would be alot harder to give in to all the good stuff but i kept reminding myself that i should'nt. I did'nt give into the temptation and that was just a great feeling within itself.

Hmmm... I was adding it up last night in my head and I ate a lot of carbs, but still did okay. Breakfast: Scrambled eggs Lunch and Dinner (Spread over 2 meals) 1 slice Honey Baked Ham (with the yummy glaze) 2 Tb potato salad 2 deviled egg halves 1/4 of a roll 2 Tb mac & cheese Snacks: a SF Peep, a SF coconut egg, jerky, and a Carb Master yogurt Since this is my first big holiday post-op, I was pleasantly surprised that I did not feel like I missed out on anything. There were sugar cookies and cake/ice craem for dessert and I was not even tempted!

Hi - Easter was easier than I thought it would be. I don't get those cravings for sugar or candy.... When I read all these posts though it seems that I eat alot more food than others. Breakfast - non fat - yogart Snack - gerber meat sticks ( I know these sound gross - but 10g of protein in a small amount of food) Lunch - Lamb w/ gravy - a few forkfuls 1 tiny tiny restuffed potato 1 forkful of red cabbage 3 green beans romaine/watercress salad - a few forkfulls Dinner - 1/2 cup eggsalad w/ real mayo 5 slices of pickles about 6 potato chips few more forkfulls of salad I had serious stomach cramps after I ate this - maybe it was the real mayo?? Snack - soy crisps w/ 1 slice non fat cheese Now doesn't that seem like alot of food - it seems others can only eat a tablespoon of food at a time..... I'm not complaining I still lost 2 pounds this week..... just perplexed ..... Marta

Although, this was my birthday and i couldn't have no cake, i did not do that bad. Since i really could not eat much any way. 1/4 piece of ham Tablespoon of greens 2 shrimp 1/2 cheese cracker I think this is the most i have eaten since i had the surgery. and i kept it all down except for the greens. so that was pretty good.
