Ok, I was wanting to be closer to 185, but my cycle came this past weekend and I also started taking some new medicine for arthritis/immune system last Wednesday. I think my body is getting adjusted. Fortunately, it is not a steroid type medicine. The last time I had the 10 day stall, I realized it was right around when I had gotten a steroid shot for inflammation. My surgeon's office said it would make me hungrier, but it didn't. It only made me stall for the 10 days while the medicine cycled thru my body. I sure hope that by this coming weekend I will see significant losses.
I am finally starting to be able to eat a bit more without getting sick. I did well with chicken today.
I did have a "WOW" moment tonight because I was able to fit a size 16 wool suit that I had in my closet from back in 2001-2002 time period when I was smaller. I just need to loose about 3-5 more lbs for it to not be snug, where I would be comfrotable enough wearing it to a business event. Not that I would need a wool suit in the summer, but it is very classy and for some reason, I feel like it makes me taller than I am. I also had a "WOW" moment this weekend when I could fit a pair of my mom's size 16 capri pants. I carry a lot of weight in my stomach, so once I get more abs toning into my workout, I will be able to fit them with some room to spare.
Have a wonderful week!

Congrats on fitting into that wool suit, Lindy. I know how great that must feel after having had it since aobut '01. That feels so wonderful to be able to fit things that we have been hanging on to just hoping that "one day" it will fit. Now it's finally "one day"! I know how frustrating it can be to carry weight in your middle...I often need to buy pants one or two sizes larger than I really need because of that issue...those darn c-sections aren't kind to the belly. Thank goodness it is beginning to get better...and flatter!

Thanks a ton. Unfortunately, I can't blame my stomach on children (YET). Mine is a hereditary thing. All of the women on my mom's side of the family have the protuding stomach. Mabye after I get my weight off, I will have my surgeon give me a tummy tuck and be rid of that problem for good.
Thanks for the message though, it did feel good.

Guess I was doubly curse then!! I get the same thing from my mom's side of the family. It used to make me so mad and self-conscious when I was young and thin (pre-kids of course!) because I could never get my tummy to lay perfectly flat...always had a bit of a "pooch" as I called it. With any luck...someday a tummy tuck will take care of all of that for me, too.
