It was delicious! And It is becoming harder to stop at just two pieces here lately. I think Wednesday was the first time that I actually had a desire to snack outside of my regular "feeding" time. I was able to resist..but it was weird and scary. When I eat, I don't always do only two ounces, some days I have eaten at least 5 oz..and it feels like 10! I did not have a scale at first but I have bought me a kitchen scale and have been trying to weigh my food on a regular basis. That helps a lot. Things are definitely different now and yes we are going to WIN!!!

Yesterday I had: B: 1 egg and 2 soy bacon strips L: 2 oz chicken and 1/2 cup of broccli (Weigh****chers Menu from Applebees) S: 15 peanuts (I am trying so hard to cut out snacks) D: 2 oz chicken and 1/2 cup of broccli (My leftovers from lunch) 1 protein drink mixed with water

Margaret- You don't have to cook the protein balls? They sort of sound like no bake cookies, but of course you cook those! Where do you get the protein powder from? Stephanie- I went through a taco salad phase about two weeks ago where I was eating it everyday! It sounds similar to yours, except no salsa and add onions, olives, and baked lo-carb tortilla strips. YUMMY! Actually, that sounds really good right now! Stephanie mentioned Monday weigh-ins... do you do a weekly post or something on this? Belle

Hey Belle!! The taco salad was delicious!! Lol I ate left overs of it today. I get my protein powder from either walmart (Body Fortress) or GNC. The one from wal mart is flavored and get an unflavored from GNC in case I want to mix it with food or somehting. When you buy it, just make sure it the Whey protein. That's the one we absorb the best. And yes we recently started a Monday morning weigh in as a weekly post. And I think I can safely say we all like it!! Hope to see you there on Monday!!

So your protein drinks mixed with water get all foamy? If not, how do you keep them from foaming up??

They foam a little but not a lot. I usually let it sit for 5 minutes and stir it again.

HI Quinn, I dont think your snack choice was bad. And some docs say to eat 5-6 small meals a day or 3 meals and 2-3 snacks. So dont beat yourself up over it. I eat a string chz or a protein ball or some almonds everyday. Thanks for replying because it really helps me to compare my eating habits with others that are at mt stage of the game. Mary

I try so hard not to snack but I get hungry in the middle of the day. I try to eat healthy and make my snacks about protein. I just worry about getting in the habit of snacking which I know can lead to grazing. I just don't want to mess this up.
