Introducing myself

Hi. My name is Sandy. Can you believe I have been on OH for months but never knew they had a forum for my surgery month!!! I had my surgery on 1/2/07. My highest weight was 366!!! I currently weigh 300 pounds and have been stuck for 3 weeks, hovering right at the entrance to twoville! It is very frustrating but I have never lost 70 pounds on any diet and I know that with my less than 1000 calorie food intake that it will drop again. I'm just "resting up" and getting ready to lose even more. I have been married for 8 1/2 years. I have three kids from a previous marriage. Jesse who will soon be 26, Jasmine who is 16 and knows EVERYTHING and my baby boy Jarrett is 11. We have 3 dogs, Gideon, Russell and the puppy is Galwain. We have 2 cats: Merlin and Lancelot. We have 2 birds: Bode and Gidget. I have been really really blessed to have only had a few minor problems. I suffered from nausea for several weeks but that has gotten better. I have some constipation but I have found that a few sugar free (high sugar alcohols) chocolates work wonders!!! I look forward to getting to cyber meet everyone on this board. Sandy

Hey Sandy and welcome!!!!!!!!!! 60 lbs is awesome!!!!! UGH gotta hate those stalls. You are right though, the scale will move in the right direction this time, it has too when you're eating less than a 1000 calories! Looking forward to chatting with ya!

I actually just entered onederland today so I know how bad you want to see that 2 as the first number on your scale. I am rooting for you and I wanna make sure you tell us when you enter twoville. HI Sandy. My name is Mary and I had my surgery Jan 11. Ive lost 69 lbs and finally am at 298 as of today. I started at 367. I had a stall too and then the next week like 9 lbs came off. So it will happen. I have 2 kids...Kristofer, who is almost 18, and Dreama who will be 6 in April. Thanks for the info on the SF chocolates. Wish I had known that last week!
