Are you getting all your Protien??
GOSH I know what you mean about spending money. I think I've bought 3 giant tubs of junk that cost at least $40 each, and yeah... they just sit there. Not to mention the countless other things I've tried and didn't like.
My favorite flavors of the Profect are blue raspberry and ruby splash (I think that's what they're called). Good luck!

I get like 50 sometimes 60 grams from food and 20 grams from a drink. Funny I hated the drink in the beginning but now it doesn't bother me. I don't like it but I don't dislike it either.
Everything I try I seem to do ok with now. Nothing bothers my stomach. I always had an ironclad stomach and I worried that it would end. Guess not. I eat about 2/3 a cup of food. I started salads the last few weeks and they are great!
Good luck
Hi Crystal:
I am not getting all my protein in either..I averaged about a 63 grams over the last month, but the last two weeks it went down to about 55 grams.. My recommended amout is about 70 to 80 grams. I have been doing the protein shakes sporadically...but I am trying to become more regular with it, doing at least one a day when I wake up. I use the Walmart brand and it is a vanilla flavor..I just mix it with water and..it is not delicious but it does not gross me out at all. I also use GNC brand of the unflavored to add to my food at times but I dont really l like their brand at all. But we got to have it! Good luck with the next protein supplement you try!
Crystal, I have to choke down a protein shake every morning but I do it because I know I have to. I usually put a scoop and a half so that gives me a good 30g to start out my day. Then for mid morning I eat a high protein bar so there is another 15g, then at lunch I eat some type of meat about another 15g worth. Then in the afternoon I have a high protein slim fast (not as bad as the other protein drinks) I think it is 17g. I actually just started doing that. I really need to count my calories as well. Then I have some type of protein for dinner. Probably about 10-15 g. I don't always feel like eatin this much but I make myself.
Here lately though whatever I eat for dinner gives me dumping syndrom. Doesn't matter what it is. Just started yesterday.

I'm a low protein eater also. Not being able to eat (nausea) doesn't help. When I eat, I eat only proteins, and I have a protein shake daily (27 gms + 1 c milk = 33 gms). My total is usually around 50 on a good day. I think I am going to try some different protein bars. The ones I have taste like cardboard.
Oh yeah, I am down 40 out of the 105 I want to loose, and still have the thin grey hair I started with

I hate the drinks as well but I made the peanut butter protein balls from the recipe forum and man are they good. Even my kids like them. Heres the recipe...
1 C Peanut butter
1 C dry oatmeal
1 scoop protein powder ( i use vanilla)
half a cup splenda
melt PB in microwave a few seconds till smooth and creamy. add other ing. and mix. roll into balls the size of meatballs and put on wax paper. put in fridge till firm and transfer to ziplock baggie. store in fridge.
each one has about 10 grams of protein.

How many does that recipe make? That sounds so good! I am in need of new snacks.
Thank you all for your help and ideas. I am going to really try to improve. This morning I dusted off my chocolate flavored unjury and made a double dose. 40g of protien. I will divide up the drinking so I don't get sick, but I will get it all in my the end of the morning.
The peanut butter ball idea sounds yummy and I am going to try it. My 4 year old LOVES to help me in the kitchen and I think she would have a ball making these.
I have set a goal to get in at least 60g today. If I can do it, then maybe I will be able to set similar goals each day.
Thanks again, I knew you ladies would help me.... you always do.
Crystal
