anyone taking actigall?

I am supposed to be taking actigall but they are so huge I am scared to take them, if you are taking them please let me know how they are going down.

Hi! I was told that you should open them and mix them with a little juice or apple sauce...I open mine and put it in the back of my mouth and drink some gatorade. I don't think that they open in our pouches if you don't open them. So then they are not effective! This is of course what I have taken from everything I have read!! Hi Lea, I am taking Actigall twice a day, morning and night. I have not really had any problems getting them down. I usually take a sip of water to wet my mouth first and then a larger sip with the pill in my mouth, and then swallow. No problem! Are you having any trouble with any of your vitamins? If not, you will probably be just fine taking these! Just be brave and give it a go....they are important to take! Hugs...Suz

Lea, I was worried too about the size. I asked the Pharmacist about opening them and mixing with applesauce or something and he said they shouldnt be opened. They really arent as hard to take as I thought they would be. They havent stuck once on me, so just try to relax and try taking one. Good Luck!!! Nikki

Hi - I take Actigall as well. I have had no problems - at first it was uncomfortable for like a minute - but so was my iron pill that I have to take as well. After a while you get used to them - just take it slow and relax as you swallow it. good luck - Marta

I take them twice a day, opened and mixed with something. As of next Saturday (2 months out), I'm cleared to swallow the capsule....I'm a little bit scared they'll get stuck, but am really looking forward to not having to taste the awful powder! Margaret
