Stricture Fixed

Hello all, haven't been on the board in a while had a stricture couldn't keep food down, but i am feeling a little better if my throat would just stop hurting from the scope.I did not have this problem before i got it done. Does anyone know how long my throat will hurt?

Hi Keke: I just had a stricture fixed last Tuesday as well and I feel fine. I didn't have a sore throat at all, but I did hear my surgeon ask the nurse for the smallest tube so without knowing the size of your tube maybe that makes the difference. The paperwork I got said that if you have pain in the throat it should only last a couple of days and to only have pureed food for a couple of days. I know I felt great getting my stricture fixed. It was hell up to that point. I hope you feel better soon. Debbie G 303/242/?
