My lunch is not very exciting today....I am having walmart brand light yogurt..mixed berry type. It has 7 grams of protein and 7 grams of sugar and only 80 calories for 6 oz. It is not very tasty because I don't like yogurt. And because I am still not really hungry I dont want to eat but I know I need something so I decided to pick something light and healthy for me!! lol

Hi there! I'm not a real big fan of yogurt, but I did like it when that's all I could eat! Today for lunch I'm having chili - 1/2 cup. 100 calories and 8 grms protein. I'm eating it now. It's yummy!!!!! For breakfast I had a Bob Evans Ham Steak (got it at the grocery store) 120 calories - 18 grms protein. I couldn't fini**** though, it was too big. Not sure what's for dinner yet.

Hi - I'm starving - didn't eat breakfast - just had a protein drink at 9:30 am and it's 1:30 pm now. I'm having 1/2 c campbell's bean and bacon soup and 1/2 cheese stick wrapped in 1/2 slice turkey breast. 12 protein total. Marta

I've never been much for preparing meals so I try to eat stuff that's fast and easy but still relatively healthy... some types of bread have protein... the one I have now is pumpernickel rye... it's low on sugar too but I think there's like 4g of protein per slice... I'll put a thin layer of miracle whip lite on it and throw on a slice of lean turkey breast lunch meat... it's good... can't wait till I can add a lil leaf of romaine lettuce to that mmmm!!! I also eat fritos with bean dip for the protein in the bean dip... I actually like yogurt and found wal mart generic light and fit yogurt in the light purple container is really good... and I drink those danactive things although I have to be careful of the sugar in them... chili with lowfat cheese shreds is good too!! mmm I'm makin myself hungry now... almost time to eat dinner... I've been interested to try tofu... any comments on it?? I've heard it's gross, but I know it's supposed to be healthy and high in protein... I also really like Smar****er... the only place I know to get it locally is at our HEB plus... it's distilled water with added electrolytes and I feel more hydrated when I drink it... plus it has a really crisp taste even if its room temp... if i feel sick to my stomach I'll sip on the lemon flavored dasani water... it seems to take the place of 7up... those quaker rice cakes have also been a great snack if I wanted something crunchy... just munch on a couple and I was satisfied... I bought some jack links beef nuggets to try... I'm hoping they aren't too tough for me, but I've heard they are really moist... so we'll see... I also really like tortellini... it satisfies my pasta craving but it has more protein with the cheese stuffing than just pasta with sauce on it... same goes for ravioli... there are also whole-wheat options to pasta that are supposed to be healthier than their white starchy counterparts... just thought I would share a few ideas in case anyone was looking for healthy things to eat...

Those are some great suggestions Sharon!! I am hungry now after reading your post!! I want to try tofu but have not been brave enough..it just sounds gross. Some people say it takes on the flavor of what ever you cook it with....I will let you know if I ever try it and you let me know if you do. Deal??? Lol
