Congratulations on the great loss! I had my surgery on the same day and am down 20 lbs. I was hoping for more...but our bodies know best and we're all different. Sorry about the vomiting...yep...if you put anything into your pouch too fast it will let you know. I know it is so challenging but keep on trying to slow down. Joy for your journey, Faith

Girl you are doing great!! Your weight gain could be contributed to mother nature.....and if that is the reason it will go away soon!! Losing 38 lbs in 5 weeks is great! What did the doctor say about the vomitting? I know sometimes people say they have strictures when they experience vomitting with every thing they eat. I don't eat as slowly as I should and I have only vomitted once since surgery 5 weeks ago, and that was last night. I eat a big bit and did not chew it enough. You are being hard on your self..our bodies are still adjusting to major surgery and will continue to adjust as time goes on. Stalls are normal and at times weight gain may happen depending on the time of the month, the types of foods we eat (such as high sodium) or if you are exercising..it could be that you are gaining muscle and muscle weighs more than fat...so it could be a good gain. Keep us posted on how you are feeling and when the vomitting stops.
