Stricture fixed....wooo hooo

OMG - My stricture is fixed I just got back from the Hospital from my Gastroscopy procedure this afternoon and I want to let everyone know I already feel 100% better now that my stricture has been dilated. My surgeon actually referred to it as being a stricture today when previously he called it narrowing, I guess they must be the same thing. I was in and out of the hospital in less than 3 hours. The procedure was really quick and easy as everyone said. I'm just so thankful that this stricture/narrowing has been fixed and I just keep hoping that it won't happen again. One more day of fluids and then two weeks of pureed and then soft. OMG I can hardly wait to eat something. Thanks again everyone for all your kind words and support during my last 5 1/2 weeks. I bet you feel so much better! I thought I had a stricture a few weeks ago but with some tea I soothed that pain out. It happens every time I eat any kind of toast or bread. I just don't think I digest it very well. it almost feels like something is blocked. When are you able to eat again?
