Hi My post op date was Dec. 12, you might be able to try some egg foo young with chicken, or plain. I can't think of any thing else, other than chicken depending on how it's cooked.

Hi - I also posted on the main board..... some people said that egg foo young could work, steamed meat and veggies, fried wontons, tofu, insides of egg rolls...... almost everyone had a hard time w/ rice - so I don't think I will try that or noodles. I hoping I will do ok. I just got in from dinner at my favorite Italian restuarant - I had chicken picata w/ sauteed spinach and garlic. No problems... lets hope tomorrow is just as good. I'll let you know - Marta

A couple weeks ago I had some steamed chicken and veggies and I chewed it really well and it was really good. Be prepared to get a alittle bloated because there is a lot of sodium in Chinese.

Marta, I tried fried crab wontons.....yummy but I didn't eat much of the crust stuff just the crab meat stuff inside. I also tried pot stickers and I just took off the dogh stuff. They were yummy too. The only rice that I have tried is stuff that is in soup like campbells. So it was pretty well soaked. I didn't have any trouble with that but I imagine you would have trouble with fried rice. I would stick to anything with veggies and meat. Hope this helps!! Anna

What about something with shrimp and veggies? I would think that you could easily do the shrimp, and some of the veggies that are more tender.
