So... It's been a while since I've posted, and I feel like this board is DEAD!!! So I'm going to post. Here goes. I'm about 3.5 weeks out from surgery now. I've lost around 38 lbs since surgery, for a combined total of 48 lbs lost altogether. Here is a list of my mini-wow moments: - My boss telling me I look like I've lost weight - I realized I sit 2 inches away from my steering wheel now. Before, with the seat in the farthest-back position, I was TOUCHING the wheel! - My chronic back pain has almost vanished completely. I used to only be able to walk around for about 5 minutes before it really hurt, but now I can go for at least an hour! Most recently, I have enjoyed a trip to Wal-Mart. That's about it for now, but I just had to share those things with someone. I'm so excited about losing more weight! I just have to get beyond this stall I've been on for a week... I still feel crummy some days, and I have one incision that is refusing to heal, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Feel free to share your Wow moments with me now.

My wow moment was I put on nylons like a normal person instead of being out of breath and struggling with them and then still having them twisted up! I have lost 27lbs since surgery. I was not very good before surgery too many last meals not that I regret them.

And (drum roll) my biggest wow.... Yesterday I JOGGED!!! Woohoo!!! This from a woman who 9 months ago could barely walk because of her knee pain. Margaret

Hi Cathryn, Great job!! How fun for you. I just recently posted my WOW moment in the jaccuzzi tub. I wanted to tell you, in advance, please don't get too discouraged by your stall. I have only lost 1.5 lbs in the past 17days. I started out at 220 and I am now down to 202. surgery date was 1/24/07. 5 lbs pre-op and 15 lbs post op. I know, in my heart, that I am losing, inches are still melting off yet the scales are not reflecting what my body is doing. It's just a matter of time and I have heard sometimes a stall can last up to a full month....go figure! Hang in there, it will all happen and you have lost so much weight already, Darla

I bought this MIchael Kors dress I was dying to get in. I wore it last Friday with a pair of knee high cowboy boots!!! WOW WOW WOW! 4. I realized I am glowing and I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers! Happy protein and exercise!!!
