What R U EATING?
Well, I have to add something new. My husband's favorite meal is Chicken Enchilada Soup from Homemade Gourmet. It's low carb, high protein, unless you add the Tortilla chips and cheese, but I don't know what this adds to it yet..need to calculate.
(It is mostly chicken and tomatoes, I use one can of rotel and one regular to spice up the recipe)
Anyway, last night I came home from work and whipped it up from chicken that I had baked on Sunday. I put just a few crushed chips and little bit of cheese and mostly the liquid, but some chicken and tomatoes in a small bowl (total was about 1/4 cup). It completely melted the chips where they were soggy and I felt like I was eating a chicken enchilada....oh it was SO good!!! This was one of my favorites before surgery too, because it is so healthy (minus too many chips, a little is okay, but now that I have control, I don't need many to satisfy me). My husband likes to just take the thicker meat and tomatoes and put them in a tortilla the next few days for left overs. Great for me, because he is eating what he likes and I am not tempted or feeling guilty for not cooking for him....and it keeps him away from fast food before he comes home.
I just had to share!

-had about 4 drinks when I went out dancing for a fund raiser and I had about 1/8 cup salmon at the dinner and didn't get a buzz (bummer), but danced a lot at less than 3 weeks out.
-drink lots of tea, water, watered down juice, Crystal Light

Dont' be scared, just try something a little bit at time. I'm not sure I'm a good source since I had booze and ribs only a little bit over 3 weeks but man I love meat. So when you try something, eat a little bit and wait for like 15 mintures and see how you feel.
Congrats and good luck!
