Staples are out niw steri-strips (Doc tells me it helps with the healing and improves upon the end scar result) they stay on until they fall off. Down 9 lbs Doc is happy Off ALL blood pressure meds & NSAIDS Don't go back to VERY HAPPY WITH MY RESULTS surgeon until 3/30/07 Was also told I may start introducing new foods, one at a time, Usually we are not given the go ahead for 14 days but he said I was doing amazing so he offers his blessings and recommendation that I move forward with my eating. I am so happy I could jump 10 feet high. Well this is a start

Hi Cathryn, Thank you so much and YES. I think the steri-stips are sooo much better than those staples were. Congratulations to you too!!!! Darla

Anna, It is a little scary to intorduce new foods. He told me to introduce with caution and he also told me to make white chicken breast the last thing I try. I was disappointed since almost everything I cook for my family had that exact ingredient. He told me it's because it is dry for the pouch and many don't tollerate it early on. I'm going to take his advise and learn to cook with more beef for now. (I always stayed away from beef because of it being a red meat but I understand that's not quite as important now) May family does not have the weight problem like I do either so they will most likely welcome the change LOL.... usually what I hear is this from my family "What kind of chicken special are we having tonight? ha ha..... they have also told me they really like the chicken at the same time. Well, they told us this is a journey and I'm riding with all the fun challenges I ate something Friday evening that agreed with me just fine, I ate it again for lunch yesterday and had to take my first anti-nausea pill, go figure. After I got past the nausea and it was time for my next meal. I played it safe and only had apple sauce....just call me chicken
