Yesterday I had my 1st post-op doctors visit. I have lost 28 pounds since my surgery on 01/17/17. I feel great. I had the RNY and 3 of my six scares are barely noticeable. I have been using shea butter on them and it is working great. I really don't see much physical change. However, I am noticing some emotional change. It is hard to explain. I am not depressed or anything. I just feel so much better. It seems as if nothing is really bothering me. Its kinda like a whatever attitude. Anyway I feel great and I go back to work tomorrow. My choice to go back to work. I am so bored at home.

Tricie, that is so awesome!! You are doing so well. wow 28lbs already, does that include what you gained while in the hospital? I am down 14 from when I came home. But only 2 lbs down from what I was before I went into the hospital. Total I have lost 24lbs total from when I started my journey. I am thrilled with my results so far. Just curious how you are counting your 28lbs. You go ahead and have that "whatever" attitude girlfriend you deserve it!!! (((hugs))) Anna

My pre-op 3-days before surgery I was 362 which is what my surgeon goes by, would make 28 pound loss. The day I left the hospital I weighed 358 which would make 23 pounds loss since I left the hospital The day I went in the hospital I was 348, which would make 13 pounds I will take either one

Congratulations! I keep thinking that all the important differences are not measured in pounds and sizes - and I believe your post backs me up. Keep up the great work! God bless! -

Tricie, Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! It is great to hear that you are doing wonderful. I do have a question for you, when did you start using the shea butter? I am concerned about my scars and right now they have the sticky protective coating on them so I am not sure what I need to do. Danielle
