I'm home!!

I made it home from the hospital today and I'm doing just fine other than gas pain. I had the open rny and my surgeon said that I was the fastest patient he ever had. He said most people stay 4-6 days and I just barely stayed 3 days so I'm very happy. I will talk to everyone soon and thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. Pearl

Hi there, welcome home! I'm glad your doing great. I had the OPEN RNY last Monday and was discharged on Thursday. WELCOME TO THE LOSING SIDE! How does your incision feel. Mine still hurts if I move too quickly. I do everything gated. Well, again, WELCOME HOME! GOOD LUCK!

Pearl, I am glad your surgery went well. You will probably be resting for today and probably tomorrow. The gas pain will go quick enough. Can't wait to hear from you. Joy

Glad to hear you are home and doing well, just try walk around the house as much as possible to help with the gas , the more you move the easier it will go away and welcome to the loosing side.
