Hi everying, Well, I made it to the Loser's bench. Got home from the hospital today and doing well. Lots of gas with I hope will "pass" soon. I was treated very well by the staff, my honey was there for me every step of the way and my friends, that live nearby, came to see me and those of you at a distance prayed for me. Thank you sincerely, from the bottom of my soul. Happy to be home and needing to rest now. Love, Darla

Wooooooot!!! Congrats Darla and welcome to the losers bench!!! Did they keep you 3 nights? I didn't want to stay another night. My day nurses were awesome but the night ones left much to be desired. Oh well I am home now and comfy I have been moving around a whole lot more then I did in the hospital, so not worried about that. Still having some pain but am taking meds for that. Only popped on to see who else made it back to post. I am so happy you are doing so well!! (((hugs)))) Anna

Hi Anna, Thank you for checking in on me. In answer to your question, I was scheduled to be in the hospital for 2 nights and that's how long I stayed. Got home yesterday about noonish and have been home since. I notice a little heartburn with drinking water and side aches are happening which I think is part of the post op pain? Are you feeling this as well? Glad you made it home safe and sound. Darla

Darla, Glad you are home and feeling good. The gas will pass, they were waiting for me in the hospital to pass some gas and did a happy dance when I did. Rest and take it easy and keep us updated. Joy

Hi Joy, Welcome home sunshine!! Just read your post online and I agree with you fully. The positive attitude really helps. I'm so happy you are home safe and sound. I know what you mean by them doing the happy dance. The nurse kept coming in to listen to my tummy and smiled really big and said "OH yes, there it is.....I was waiting for that sound" she proceeded to tell me it was the inner stirrings of the gas starting to build up. Glad the worse of that is over with now....can you say PEEEE YEWWWW? I sure was LOL not nearly as bad today...thank goodness. Each day is getting better I can see that. Welcome home and keep up the great work. Darla
