Anyone on a STALL already???
I can't believe it. I have been stalled for 3 days at -21lbs. I have no idea why. I am not getting more than 500 calories per day and I am getting some protien, not to mention exersizing on the treadmill for 45min a day and doing a half hour of free weights to avoid flabby arms.
I want to lose more weight RIGHT NOW!!!!

Me too!!! I lost 25 lbs quickly and that was like a week ago. I've been hanging at the same number. I seen my surgeron yesterday and he seemed happy. I have another appointment in 4 weeks. He figues I'll be down about another 10 lbs by then. I'm just thinking it's slowing down.
I think this happens to most of us, I lost 17 lbs in 2 weeks and then only a few ounces in the last five days. It is dissappointing but remember in the beginning we lose lots of water too. Hang in there, it will pass in a few days. I keep reminding myself I didnt get fat overnight so it will take some time to get down but certainly not as long as if I had to do it on my own before surgery.

Could it be that w/ the excerise and the lifting weights your building muscle and if that is the case it's a good thing. It should balance out and you should see a drop soon, but I do understand the frustration. Also maybe your body is getting freaked out by the sudden weight loss and it's hanging onto everything it can for the time being...... just a thought -
Keep up the good work w/ the exercise - I have to start lifting weights soon too.
My surgery sister rang me this morning in tears....guess what...she is stalling too.
She lost 15kg in 2 weeks and then nothing in the last 6 days!! NOTHING!! It seems we all have these around 3 to 4 weeks out but they pass.
I have no doubt in my mind that this will work. We are all different and will lose at different rates but we will get there in the end. I am not going to torture myself, only going to weigh myself once a week and keep to the foods I am supposed to eat and exercise. AND STAY POSITIVE.
You will be at 200lbs and less very soon. Keep your chin up.

I'm only 6 days out (-14lbs.), but have done a lot of lurking on the main board to know that we really won't even start to lose major weight until after a couple of fills. I made the mistake of jumping on the scale a couple of days ago. Now I'm becoming obsessed with the number. I keep telling myself that I'm checking because it's motivation to remind me about why I went through the surgery. Problem is- now I'm going to be stressed out any time I don't see a drop. I know for myself that I have to get a grip and concentrate on learning how to eat and exercise right now. Believe me- I haven't started the exercise routine yet, but I can sympathize with how frustrating it must be to work so hard and not see a change. Hang in there though! That scale WILL start to move and your body will be healthier and stronger
Way to go on what you've done so far!
(I do know where you're coming from, though- I want to lose it NOW, too!!!)
