Surgery on 1/31

I am going in on the 31st .. with my husband... team effort! I am getting really nervous. I am not having second thoughts but im a little frightened. I trust our doctor wholey and completely and i know he will not let anything bad happen to my husband or myself. I realllly want this... but i dont know why im feeling like this! Does anyone have any helpful advice to get me over this hump? Thank you...Christine

Christine, I am not sure if I can help since I am not really scared, or nervous. I am so ready to have this done and start to live. The only thing I am worried about is if something happens to me, what will my little boy think. I try not to think about it and have provided for it. I wrote him a little letter, and he has a wonderful father. I know everything will be fine. When I get to thinking about that aspect I just think about how our lives are now and how they could be if I were a healthier and thinner person. I hope this helps hon!! Hi, you guys are brave doing it together, I would be afraid something would go wrong and we couldn't help each other.... As far as fear, I think I have passed that now, I don't know when it happened, but I am not afraid anymore..it just happened...I think I just let go. I also wrote letters to my kids letting them know how I felt and they are to be given to them if something goes wrong, and if nothing is wrong, my friend will destroy them.... Hello fellow surgery buddy.. I will be going in on the 31st as well.. I'm cool right now but I know that it is going to be a crunch time to get everything ready.. my bag.. stock up the home.. and etc. I wish you and your husband good luck. I will keep all of us in my prayers.. Tia
