I am home and doing great!!

I was released from the hospital about 8pm last night it was great that I only had to stay in the hospital one day. I am walking and feel like I could dance (but I won't). I slept in my waterbed on my side propped with Pillows and slept all night. I have minimal pain, my last pain meds were day of surgery around 4 in the morning. I am sore and have a little bruising I will try to post pics on my profile of my belly. Over all I had a great experience and I have lost 7 lbs in two Days My pouch does not like Jello but it does like water and broth. Thanks you to all who helped me to stay positive thru this whole process I truly believe that I am recovering well because I kept a positive attitude. I will keep in touch I love you all. Alice

Wow Alice you beat me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I barely got released tonight at 5:30. Had a real rough time. I can't believe how good you did!!!!! I just got back to normal today. I haven't had any pain meds since 5:00 this morning. Everytime I saw you, you were booking along down the hall way We're at the hotel. I'm already sick of jello So glad we got to meet. Hope we can stay in touch. Good job on the weightloss. I haven't weighed yet. Too chicken I think. Take care & keep me up dated. Luv,Lynell

Oh Lynell, I am glad you got to leave the hospital. I was woried about you. I am doing great just a little sore and I have some bruising. I feel hungry but I get full on so little broth. I can't wait for mushy foods. You rest and drink your water it sure has helped me. perhaps we can go for a walk together before you go home. Warmly, Alice
