I'm back!

I've been home a few days now. I'm doing pretty good so far except it's hard as hell to get everything in, from broth to water to pills to protein, but I'm doing it. The surgery went off without a hitch and I feel pretty good. I try to stay moving a lot to help with circulation. I have my one week post-op appt on Wednesday. I'm staying with my aunt, so I'm not around a computer much. Good luck to everyone with upcoming surgeries!

Welcome Back!! I am so glad you are doing good. From what I here it will take a couple of weeks untill your pouch gets use to liquids or food. keep up the good work. I go in tomorrow for my surgery and it helps to know that you went thru yours fine thank you so much for sharing keep me posted on how you are doing. Alice

Hey Tara. I'm glad you're doing good. I can imagine that it is difficult to get all your necessary fluids, but you'll get it all down to a science before long. I wish you well!
