Date set!! 29th!

I am new to these boards, though I've been a lurker for many months. I have been waiting on financial approval for longer than I care to think about. My process actually began over 2 years ago with insurance saying weight loss surgery was an excluded coverage in my policy, even though I called to verify that it was covered before I jumped through all the hoops. About a year later, I found the Vocational Rehabilitation service in my area, and have been working with them for about 8 months now. They've kicked my file back several times, and actually LOST it twice. Finally got the word Wednesday that Voc Rehab will pay for the surgery, and it just so happened that the surgery center had an opening on the 29th. I'm so very excited. Congratulations to all of us!
