Elizabeth, I'm so sorry, again! I know you are heartbroken. From what you've written, I really think this is probably just one of those automatic denial things that Tricare does occassionally. I'd really recommend going into your benefits specialist in person (there should be one at DLI or at least at the Post-Grad School) to discuss what you can/should do. Sometimes they can even talk with someone and get the denial reversed immediately. I would also go ahead and start writing my appeal letter, now, so that it's ready to mail on Tuesday. It seems like I saw samples somewhere here at OH, maybe in the insurance forum? If your doctor changes his submission to reflect the 200% thing, and or your sleep study results come back "right", then you can add that info to your appeal - even after mailing it. They allow you some amount of time to continue to submit "evidence". I'll be praying for you. Keep us posted. margaret p.s. My sister lives in Marina, just north of you.
