However, I am so happy that I realized today that it was not just the cold I had a week ago. I called my surgeon's nurse and she said yes get to a doctor. If you have a sinus infection when you come to your pre-op, surgery is postponed. Yikes!!! I told my boss sorry gotta run to the docs see you in the morning and went to the urgent care and sure enough sinus infection. Thank you God for giving me a clue today. I even saw the doc I like there and he said congratulations on your surgery, lets get you better so you are nice and healthy for your surgery!! Woooohoooooo. I would have been soooooooo disappointed. Long story short if you think your are getting sick get in to a doctor quick. I should be good to go...2 more weeks and I'm there baby Anna

Thanks for the advice Anna and I'm glad to see you caught it in time. My surgery is the day after yours and they are predicting snow in the forecast You know if it snow here in Central Texas, they close down everything and that would really suck. Take care of yourself and get better soon! Pearl

Hey Anna Same thing here...my surgery is on the 25th and I went to the dr on mon with a sinus/upper resperitory infection. My surgeons office said as long as I was finished with the antibiotics before surgery, I would be fine. Whewwwww! Thank God it happened this week instead of next week! Hope you're feeling better. rhonda

Good for you for getting this taken care of now! I can tell you from personal experience that you definitely want to be well - I actually did have my surgery postponed (from the 10th to the 24th) due to whatever crud I happen to have. I'll be praying for you! Rest up, and be well!
