We'll all put you in our prayers but you will be just fine! Go into surgery relaxed, it will make it easier for you. My husband was so relaxed it was amazing. He didn't feel real great riight after, no one does, but the next day and days after were great. You'll be up and walking pretty soon after and on your way to being a much lighter person! He said the worst was no water right after, your so dry. I read someone say bring chap stick! You don't need much in the hospital, your not there very long, but some slipper would be good for the walking you'll want to do. The more you move the better and the sooner you'll be rid of the anethsia. So, try your best to relax, practice your deep breathing exercises and you'll be just fine. Good Luck, let us know when your up to it that your home. Wi**** was my day, I'm not until the 26th, but really excited to be getting closer.

A prayer was just said for you, but you will be fine. Make sure you get up and walk, and DO bring chap stick. The meds dry your mouth and lips so much and those pesky ice chips was all I got for 2 days. Hopefully your hospital will do it correctly and you will be able to eat something. Don't worry that it is only little sips that you take of water and it may hurt, withina month you will be able to down more liquids and normal eating will start. I had ZERO pain and I hope the same for you. Good luck I'll continue prayers and comfort!
