RNY DONE YESTERDAY AND I'M IN THE HOSPITAL FEELING GREAT!
I was in my room and all fixed up by 11am yesterday! Now it's 2am on the 5th, and I'm feeling GREAT! This whole thing is NOTHING to be afraid of!! I took a walk last night at around 7pm and just took another walk around a half hour ago! I can't believe that I didn't eat anything since 8pm on the 3rd and now its the FIFTH and I'm not even hungry!!!!! (although I would love a drink of water--or any kind of drink!) I don't get any liquid until this morning--can't wait--but sorta afraid how it'll feel when I swallow it!
Love,
Jill
OMG, Jill! You sound fantastic! Thank you so much for posting (from your hospital room yet!!), Jill, your encouraging words are so soothing & I thank you so much! I'm a bit well, more like 'quite a bit!' nervous (smile), albeit excited at the same time. I'm about 10 days away from my big day (yippee!). I think you you must have gone into surgery with a great attitude, which is so great & I know you will do awesome in your recovery.
Good on you, Jill! Keep up the good work (& the posts if you feel up to it) & enjoy the drinks!!
Cheers,
Mary
OMG. This is just the shot in the arm I needed to get the nerves out. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I am all set for Monday and I was worried about how I would feel and if I would be hungry, knowing that you are doing SO WELL, makes it easier for me. Thank you again, and YIPPEEEEE to your success and your seat on the losers bench.

Hi Pam
I'm scheduled for surgery on the 10th as well. It's always encouraging to hear from others who had the surgery and had no problems. Good luck on the 10th!!!!
To the original post: I'm glad to hear that your surgery went well. You give lots of hope and encouragement to those of us who will have the surgery soon. Take care and I hope to see you on the losers side real soon
