1/9 in spain

i will be having surgery in Spain on 9th Jan and am really nervous to the point of having panic attacks and I cant sleep. Am so scared i wont get through and see my kids and dh again. I have read many other members posts who all seem to feel the same problem so am really trying to keep calm but its very hard. Does anyone know of any support groups in Spain as I havent been able to find any? This site has been a great help in research and support for me, thanks to everyone. Milania x

I go in the day before you and I too have gone thru my panic moments (check out my blog page to see what I mean), but after my last surgeon consult before Monday, I felt soooo much more at ease. If you are looking for a support group in your area, I think your best resource is your surgeons office themselves. They do these all the time and should have a list of some support groups. If not, ask if you can leave your name and number for someone who is post-op and ask the office if they would be willing to see if any post-op patients will call and share thier stories. Thanks to Anna and Crystal for your kind words, they mean a lot. I will contact surgeons office for info re support groups. Hope all goes well for you, this time next week it will all be over and we will be on the losers bench! Milania x
