Hi Kenny, I also did not see the post. But, I can't believe anyone could or would be so cold and mean. I don't understand why some people have to be that way. I am all new to most of this. I go in on Jan. 10 to have my surgery. If it wasn't for this web site and all the wonderful support I don't know if it is something I could of done. Don't get me wrong I have a supportive family but none of them are over weight and don't understand what it's like to be heavy. Please don't let one bad person run you off. It wouldn't be right for this person to have there way. I will always be there if you ever need someone to vent to. If it wasn't for a gal I met on this web site being there for me in time of need, I may not be doing this myself. Hopefully this helps you and please anytime you need an ear, please e-mail. Kenny, I am so saddened to hear of the insensitivity & lack of compassionate of some individuals. Unfortunately, life is filled with incidents such as yours despite the fact that each & every one of us needs encouragement & direction at times in our lives. I can only feel that these individuals are lonely, sad, selfish, & contribute little to the world around them. I didn't read the posting which you refer to, Kenny, but I'd like to say that you have SO many wonderfully supportive friends here online that would offer you a caring word at any time. We are here to help each other towards a happy, healthy, new lifestyle Try to forget the incident & move forward. Life is to short & we have all wasted too much time being unhappy with ourselves. Often words spoken are not meant to offend but to critically analyze. I may be way off base as I didn't read the postings, but please accept my thoughts from a new friend. I also didn't see the post, but I wish I had. I feel that no matter what the situation is we should be supportive and try to help each other. I feel appalled that you put yourself out there only to be lambasted by someone. In my opinion, if you have nothing nice to say, skip the post.
