January 17 and terrified

After working on it for almost an year, I finally have my date but the problem is that I'm terrified of the surgery. Is there anyone else who had this problem and what did you do to overcome it?

Hi, I think it is totally natural to be terrified. I am terrified too, but I know I have to do it...for me, for m family I dind't do nothing to overcome it, it's still here, I just got to work on it piece by piece and I am sure the moment I am being put under I am thinking OH SHOOOT I really want to say NO....LOLbut by then I will be in LALA land Gina

Sharon, I have the same date! I had been really carefree up until yesterday nad now I am getting the jitters.......SO....you are not alone.

I have the same date as well! My reality hasn't set in yet but I am sure in the next few days I will be a mess!! Be strong and keep your head up. We are here for each other so stay in contact!!

I have the same date too! Wow that one is popular! I am also terrfied though, but Id never admitt that to my family haha. Its normal and we will probably laugh about it afterwards. I'm a nut job at the moment. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!! It's about a week away from my date, and I am so nervous myself. I just want January to get over with before it even starts and I can't wait till February, haha.
