January 17th!!

My lap-band surgery is scheduled for January 17th! Oh yeah, get busy, it's my birthday, my "start of a new me" birthday. I have just gone through a lot to meet my insurance requirements and now that I have a date - it's like it's not real. I was reading the posts here and agree that it would be nice for all of us "January"s to stick together. Nothing like starting out the new year right! Congrats to everyone who has their date and for those interested or still in the fight - keep your head up. I will pray that things work out for all of us.

Congratz on your date. It is a verry happy occation. and we get a new birthday I will have to tell my hubby we need to celebrate twice a year. woohoo.

Thanks Alice! Definitely celebrate your new birthday. Our dates are just 1 day apart! It's so nice to find a board like this. It's motivating to have others to share experiences and emotions with - not to mention to awesome support!
