Two weeks!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a very happy holiday! My surgery is two weeks away! I started my all liquid diet today and it just seems so surreal! Best of luck to everyone our month is coming!

Congtatz on your date. and keep us posted on how your liquid diet is going for you. alot of people have a hard time with it. just remember we are here for you.

Hi - I started my 2 week liquid diet today as well !!! My surgery is on the 8th. I was just saying the same thing that is all seems all surreal..... I had my pre surgery testing today and i go for my medical clearance appt. as well. Good luck w/ your liquid diet ...... I'm hoping it is not as hard as everyone seems to say it is. I can have 3 protein drinks and 1 small healthy meal a day, so I'm hoping it will not that bad..... Marta

Hi Vanessa, and everyone, I am praying forall of us. I am going on the 15th. It is so exciting. Now that Christmas is over I can get more focused. I am starting my medifast liquids and one lean and green meal a day on New Years day, the 1st. I better eat some of my favorite meals between now and then. ......we are almost on our way. Cissy

Congratulations!!! My surgery is on the 9th also. My doctor doesn't make me do the liquid diet until the day before. Where is your surgery at? Mine is at St. Vincent's in Carmel. Best of luck to you

I'm scheduled for Jan 9th too but I only have to do clear liquids the day before (my birthday) and no food or drink after midnight before surgery... I may try doing something close to the 2 week pre op diet you're on though even tho my surgeon doesn't require it... I'm having my surgery at Citizens in Victoria, TX with Dr. McDaniel... he's the same doc that did my best friend's surgery...
