Good morning!

Honestly...my life is a little bleak right now...but, inspired by Miss Tiff, I wanted to scrounge a positive post..

My son is practically potty trained! The book My Big Boy Potty by Joanna Cole and buying him big boy Batman underpants did the trick! It was literally overnight! He only wears diapers at night now...and I bet it is only a matter of time before he is out of them completely. Wahoo!!!

Another positive thing...I screwed up...and I screwed up big time. Not sure yet what the ramifications will be. But I have an amazing support system of people who love me despite my (numerous) faults! That is amazingly positive!

Today is beautiful here! I went to the wedding of my fourth cousin yesterday. It was a great time and I got to touch base with many family members that I don't see often.

One positive thing in my life.....

I rediscovered what a strong network of friends I have this past week. I did not get a job I wanted and anticipated an offer for - those *****ached out were so fabulous and abundant that I went to bed smiling that night.

OK a second thing - my house is clean and I got in some good exercise today.

Greetings and Salutations from super rainy Chicago!!!

The waters are rising around my house (literally) and I am housebound so came to see what is happening. With the new site layout it is clear - WE HAVE LURKERS IN ABUNDANCE!!!!

Some posts have almost 70 views - WOW!! First it is good to know we all still think of each other and come here for support and to see what each other is doing.

SOOOOO......I challenge everyone to post to this, just so we have a refresher of our January 2006 family.
