Good evening ladies and Gents....
I had a very stressful day but managed not to over eat!

B~special K cereal

S~protein coffee with 2 scoops of protein

L~2 pieces of crabmeat and 1/2 cup pineapple cottage cheese.

D~2 oz  baked chicken small scoop of steamed peas, 1 bite of cheese mashed potatoes.

S~ half a serving of sf cheesecake wit 1 dollop of cool whip.

All water and vitamins. I ran in place for 30 minutes with Jillian Michaels, and did 200 squats. According to daily plate I had..........
8gr fat, 64gr carbs, 93 gr protein and after working out I had
730 cals in but burned 314?

How many carbs should we be shooting for? Anyone know?

I'm always 182, 183 or 184. Sure I would like to reach my goal of 175 but I'm no longer stressing that number. Just trying to maintain!!

No...unfortunately, I am 11 pounds from goal. :(  My goal is 160 but I want to see if I can lose the last 5 without doing the protein/starve thing. :)

Good idea about the recipe thread!  I will start one!

Have a great day!!

WOW........your just 6 pounds away. Congrats hon. I feel like Im a lifetime away from my goal (19 more pounds). UGGG!

Anyways, nights suck for me too. Im up so late with the baby I usually dont get to bed until between 12 and 2am. That gives me and the kitchen to much time together. I did well last night, I stuck to my plan. Hopefully I can do the same today.

B: eggbeaters with cheese
L: protein shake
S: protein bar
D: either chicken or tilipia

Feel free to post the recipe, maybe we can get a thread started just for them. I need some ideas!

Hello Alex

It sounds like life is treating you well.  Ronna and I are here in Chicago if you have any extra time during your trip here.  Otherwise, know it is VERY cold.  We consider it brutal, no doubt someone from Mexico will be very shocked.

Warm regards,

Tiff

Good morning!

Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t.  Nights are getting MORE difficult for me.  I did well with dinner...I ate my one cup of pasta e fagioli.  BUT...then I topped it off with 3 Hershey Kisses and 2 packs of PEZ.  Now, normally I would not beat myself up for that but I SOOO wanna keep doing this protein-only thing until I get to 165.  And that is 6 lbs away, my friend.  CRAP.

Anyhoo...today is so far, so good.  But it is only 9:30 in the morning so what the hell am I braggin' about!?!

Here is the PLAN today...

B:  2 oz. chicken (I could not choke down the last ounce...I wish I was this "un-hungry" at night!).
S:  New Whey
L:  3 oz. chicken and 11 pretzel crisps
S:  New Whey
D:  My pasta e fagioli.  Man I love that stuff.  If anyone wants to recipe, lemme know.  It is good!

Maybe tonight I will have energy and not fall asleep by 8 pm like I did last night. :(

I hope you all have a wonderful, successful day!

Love and hugs,
JM

Here's the  damage...

Lunch:
1 Cup of Progresso Lite veggie soup.. no noodles or rice .. Good stuff and only 60 calories
1/2 Cup of Chopped chicken breast.. Added to the soup for added protein

Snack:
South Beach diet cereal protein bar

Sanck:
Small pack of hot n spicy peanuts

Dinner:
Lean Cuisine frozen dinner
1/2 Cup of leftover collard greens

Snack:
NSA Yogart
2 thin slices of ham rolled up

Cal.. Fat.. Carbs.. Protein

You are certainly right!!!

I thought that my biggest problem in life was my overweight. At the time I figured it out that I had lost over 130 pounds my problems were still there and I had other ones not invited. I had to worked really hard to accept myself even with my new look. I had to take out the best of me and to dig the worst past of me. As Rhonda said it really is a process wich it really hard to go through.

Today I am thankfull for the surgery, but now I know that the healing process is not just phisical, it comes with mind healing and even with your heart and feelings and relationships healings.
