You had some good food today but like you said, you do good all week so we deserve to splurge sometimes. Saturdays my day to enjoy a couple good meals. I already know I want pizza and real ice cream! Not the sugarfree, fat free stuff. I want the real stuff
Enjoy your weekend!!

Topic: RE: Who has had breast implants? &other ramblings on plastics
I got the silicone...yes they are way more $$ but they look wayyyy natural. As far as your incision....your doc know what might be a better fit for you. Instead of looking at statistics, look at realistics. Even if he didn't go through your nipple, you might have some other problem that's way worse than losing nipple sensation. The probability of losing sensation is actually on the low side. My doc went through my nip and my sensation is BETTER than what it was before surgery. Now isn't that great! Make sure you ask your doc as many questions as you can think of, also if there are any nurses in the office that have had procedures...they're a great resource! Do some research on your own about your docs suggestions as well as alternatives. Whichever you choose, good luck and hope it meets your expectations!
Now, as far as this other plastic surgery...it's a touchy subject. Especially since you have teenagers (can't believe you have a teen by the way). Remember that ADDICTIONS have consequences. Just because one or two procedures satisfied you doesnt mean the third or fourth will. Having surgery...any surgery is a big risk. If you're willing to take such a big risk because you have a bulge here, and your thighs could look better there then go for it! I personally think my body could look way better! At the same time...I appreciate it for what it is. I have the back fat, the ripply thighs, bat wings as arms but I'm okay with it. This is what I signed up for...so I got it. That's my personal journey so that's how I view it...others view it differently. Just remember to think of the all the risks...medical, surgical, physical, emotional. Now as far as your teens...teens are SO uptight about their bodies in this time. I don't ever remember girls in my teens being so hard on thier bodies! My neice is 16 and she's always harping on her body...I tell her to embrace her nose that she's always complaining about and be happy she got a little bit of junk in the trunk! I gained a lil bit of weight back so I could HAVE a booty! Young women are SO impressionable at this time. I don't have children, but I'm sitting here thinking....if my mom changed almost everything on her body, where does that leave me? Should I do the same...I mean, I am a product of her so the same way she's changing this and that about her body, I should think the same about mine. It's a little different for us because we've had WLS and teens don't make that distinction. To be honest, it ain't all that pretty when some of us take our clothes off. I don't love what it looks like, but I like it just enough. These are my thoughts and opinions of course so don't think I'm placing them to your situation. Whichever you choose, hope its the right choice for YOU and YOU enjoy it!!

My eating hasn't been the greatest today, but the deed has already been done! What can I do about it but get over it and do differently tomorrow. Not only that, but I've been pretty good the rest of the week, so I'm over it! Here's what I had:
3/4 turkey sandwich on wheat bread w/FF mayo, few baked Lays
Light n Fit yogurt
1 pkt. Low Sugar Strawberries n Cream oatmeal (yum yum!), some popcorn
1 whole wheat bagel w/reg cream cheese over the course of a few hours (got it off the coffee truck)
Went the hot bar and ate like a pig: 1 bbq rib, 3 hot wings, 1/4c. rice and beans, few bites of veggie lomein (nasty!), few bites of salmon, tbsp lasagna, sm. garlic roll
At work: had some veggie chili...it was good! Thinking about having a mostly veggie diet w/protein supplements...its good!
So all I did was run around in the pouring rain. And had the nerve to get my hair done! But I love my hair so I ain't complaining.

Topic: I'm Turning Into a Lurker
First I want to apologize to everyone for being MIA lately. My new job, which is wonderful, by the way is getting in the way of me living my life
I do check in almost everyday and read posts so I can stay up to date on how everyone is doing. But just haven't had the time to respond to many posts.
I'm out of the house by 6:30 in the morning and not home to almost 7:00 p.m. So as you can see, I don't have much time to myself right now. The good news is that the company will be moving in March to a new location that will cut my commute in half. That should give me a lot of time back so I can play with you all.
I am doing well......bring breakfast and lunch every day and have been eating good things for me. I even found a couple of grea****er bottles that hold 32oz each. One is for cold things that has a straw in the top that you can cover for transporting so it doesn't spill. These were on closeout at Target so I bought a couple in case I break one. And the mouth opening is big enough to get ice from the ice maker into it, so I am really pleased with this one.
The other one, I also got a Target, is called a " Big Bubba". It's an insulated 32oz mug with a great handle and a bottom that fits into my cars cup holder. It will keep hot things hot for 3 hours and cold things cold for up to 12. These days when it's been so cold I have been filling it full of hot "international coffee" sugar free, caffeine free cafe mocha. Boy does it feel good on a cold morning.
So that's about it my darlings. Hope you are all well and taking good care of yourselves. I miss you all tons...but I'm always here in spirit even if not in person.
Sending hugs to all
