Topic: Hi Peeps
Hello everyone. I have been very busy with school and vacation. John and I took the kids and my Mother in law to the Dominican and it was so much fun. It took us 3 days to get home though because they had a huge storm in Buffalo and we ended up in Charlotte, NC....Then Indy airport and finally Philly before landing in Buffalo. It was good to get home. School has been good, I got an A- on my first essay and am waiting for my 2nd one to be graded. I got and 82 on my Psych exam and felt very good because the class average was a 72. I am doing well in math as well. I had to big tests and got an 85 and a 93. I feel good using my brain. My weight has been steady and I would really still like to lose some more (like 23 lbs) but I am satisfied if I don't. I will post pics soon from our trip. I miss everyone on here and hope the board picks up soon. Take care and I will try and post more frequently.
Hugs to all!
Chris

Topic: Just checking in
Hello all!
Woke to a spring winter wonderland this morning. About 4 inches of wet snow covering everything! Roads were nice and slick as we went out to breakfast with my hubbys brother and his wife. Was great visiting with them. It is starting to melt now. I hope it warms up so the roads won't be to bad for the drive to work Monday.

Topic: RE: Measure your food???
I measure to a point. By now I know how much of most things. I do have a measuring cup for my grapenuts.
Liquids you use a cup and meats you use a scale. My parents even measure everything they eat, keeps them on track, they did not have the surgery.
It is important to know how much you are eating. Over time, you can start to eat more, even though the stomach will get by with less. This can happen from any number of things, mostly sitting and eating over time. Stuff goes out easier now and lets more go in. So if you are socializing, you can over eat, found that out last week.
So yes, you need to keep an eye on what you eat, not only how much, but how many calories. Weigh often too, don't let more than a couple pounds creap up without working on loosing them. These are the things I still do to this day.
Good luck

My guess, as it is a guess, is is an ulcer. You need to get it checked out. It can become a problem, other than extremely painful. Until you can get in, start taking pepcid each day to cut down on the acids, don't eat spicy foods and try some milk. I had one and it became a bleeding ulcuer, so it needs to be checked out.
Good luck and congratulations
