Topic: Lines, lines and more lines - BFP!!!!!!!!!!!
So I am in blissful shock ....
I am looking at two lines ... actually two sets of two lines .....
Two tests, two different brands ..... TWO POSITIVES --- WOOOO HOOOOO
Called my ob, high risk ob and endocrin. Only got the HR OB, have my first appt 5/8. I am hoping my endo will see me sooner. Until then I am taking progest suppos on my own. This is a hormone I am usually low on and will help the pregnancy throught the first trimester.
Hubby was here when I took the test, he is estatic and in his I don't know what to say mode.
Topic: RE: Got any ideas for.....
Soups, small bowls, chap stick, fun cup, measuring stuff for food, a pad of paper, tape measure and pen to keep track of her loss. No sugar added anything like apples sauce. A strainer for the second stage, a small personal blender for the protein shakes. A sample pack of protien drinks, she wont know what she likes till after surgery, remember, our tastes changed. A nice pillow, neck pillow.
Guess I rambled, I just wrote as I thought of stuff. Hope this helps.
Topic: RE: ok girls i need some help!
I would suggest going back to the rules. Measure everything. Track all calories, plan each day every meal and don't go off of it. Eat 6 small meals a day and not until full. Don't drink with meals if that was part of your rules. Then, protein first, heavy proteins, so they keep you full longer. Stay away from carbs for now. Exercise like it was a religion.
You need to burn more calories than you eat. 3500 calories is one pound or gain or loss. So if you have been eating around 2000 calories and have been gaining, then you need to get down to 1000 a day.
The 2 biggest things, NO SUGAR EVER!!!!!!! and you can drink your way out of the surgery, so don't drink anything with calories in it, except protein drinks.
You still have the tool, just need to use it again.
I have set a rule for me that has worked. If I gain 2 lbs, I cut back, way back, for a couple of days and loose that weight. I never let it get more than the 2 lbs. That was how I gained the weight the first time.
Best of luck
Topic: Got any ideas for.....
So after my friend watched me for two years she finally got tired of being "the fat one". Her surgery is May 12th! I am making her a gift basket of all the things that I think she will need for the first few months. The only problem is.. I have forgotten most of what I went threw. (Therapy works wonders.) So far I have shared all my proteins with her. I have a pill crusher and little forks and spoons.... that's it! I know there is more that she will need or that will make her change easier. Please help with any idea you have.
Thank you so much

Dear Ronna:
I hope you are well. I am right now in Jilotepec a new city in which I expect to start up a new life. The city is beautiful and my family is happy for the change. I expect to have them with me in few weeks. Probably late June or early July.
My new job is great and I have high expetations about it.
Right now I am not allowed to visit the Jan Forum due to the protections the company has in the system. But as soon as I have internet service for myself I will go back and visit all my friends there.
Please know that you have a real friend here. I hope your son is well and your life is full of rewards.
Your truly friend
Alejandro from Guadalara Mexico (not any more LOL!)
