Ok so I am going to start this again but am wondering if there is anyone that has done it for more than  10 days? I am to the point that I want to be down to my lowest and want to do what ever it takes. Does anyone else have these feelings?  I need help, LOTS of it!

I need to start something also.  I was fine for 4 and a half years now I am picking up some weight and freaking.  I am really scared,  I have arthritis pretty bad in my knees and ankles which limits my activities greatly.  I plan on upping my protein and eating more fruit and veggies, hope it works but without excersise it is so hard to get weight off.  I am 63 and when u get older its hard when u get limited.  Good luck, miss all of u too, but time is always getting away from me too.

When I did the plateau buster, my surgeon ok'ed it but he didn't recommend that I do it more than 10 days. I agree becausee it's just like any low carb diet. We don't eat carbs for a certain amount of time and you loose a lot of weight but as soon as you incorporate carbs back your diet, you gain some of the weight back.
Just come up with a good eating plan that balances out the carbs and protein. If you go on a crash diet and cut back the calories drastically, you will loose but as soon as you start eating a "normal" amount of calories, you will gain it back.

My daily calorie intake is between 1200 and 1300 calories, no more than 100 carbs and at least 100 grams of protein. Most of my 100 carbs a day are from fruit and vegetables. I allow myself 1 carb a day when it comes to bread, grits, cereal, pasta or potatoes.

I joined WW to get  back on track and it helped me. My lowest was 184 and I gained to 207. I'm not 179.  Consider going to weigh****chers. It's an awesome program. The support is great and knowing that you have to go weigh in once a week, helps you stay on track!

Good luck!!!!
