Hey
How's the Monday going? Mine is slow and windy. We had snow in the dessert... roughly 4 hours south of me. I have to make cookies for work tomorrow as well as study for my audition test in January.
I got my application and essay into Duquesne last week! The cut off was today, so I'm definately excited and proud that I put so much work into it ahead of time. The Spring semester starts Jan 12 for one school and the 20th for the second school I'm attending in order to get all of my transferable credits fufilled. I'll be busy, but am prepared to get through it.
Things definately happen for a reason. My father was "downsized" (read into that political upset) and cash is tight. After debating how I would pay for my flight the woman I house sit for announced she was going to use her airmiles and buy my ticket. Wow. Now the next thing was hotel and car? Hotel and shuttle? Living with someone? My friends are all super busy and I don't want them to feel like they're babysitting me. After researching hotels I asked one of my facebook friends about the cheaper hotel no one ever talks about and she simply said no worries! Stay with me! I live on campus and have an air mattress. The great thing? She's a resident advisor of the transfer student dormitories. Everything is in my hands now. Someone higher has definately placed me in the proper situations to succeed and I just have to walk through the doors.
Life/Karma/He is definately a wonderful thing.
