Computers

Hello all!

I have a big decision to make and I wanted to poll you all and see what you think.

I am going to buy a new computer.  Mine is old and slow and I want to upgrade.  My question:
Windows or Apple????

I have heard many good things about Apple and horror stories about the new Microsoft Vista.

Let me know what you think/have/used in the past/dream of for your computing future!!!!

 APPLE!!!!  

I absolutely LOVE my iMac.  Never a problem.  Very intuitive, easy, clean and fun.  They even have a program called "one to one" where for $100 you can have a weekly session with one of their 'pros' to go thru any of the 15 established sessions or talk about anything you'd like.  For a year!   I have learned sooooo much and the whole atmosphere is a lot of fun.  

And if you are having a problem or want to learn something, simply schedule time with a 'genius'. 

Their version of the MS softwares does parallel/exceed MS (powerpoint, excel, word) and can now open up and save again as a MS file.  Or you can buy the MS for Apple as well so there are no limitations in this area.

No viruses, no crashes.  It's a whole new way of thinking....

Both my sister and brother have macs and swear by them, I have a pc and don't use it all that much. I had heard about the new vista being terrible too, I would probably go with a mac just cause I had heard there are never any problems with them. Let us know what you decide and how you like what you buy ....:)

I have 2 laptop computers and both have Windows Vista I have never had any problems with either one.  I LOVE IT!!
