Do you sometimes???

The coming back of Hazel to our family makes me wonder about all the people who has come here and are continaully absent... Some of them has come again as Jersey Mom, Hazel, some times Steph and Dave, but what about Rhonda, Christy, Chele, Ronna, Dawn, Robin... I know that some of us have taken our lives in order and start up to live a new life... but it makes me wonder how are all of them... are they all right??? some of them left with a good scenery some of them had problems... God bless all of them Do you some times wonder what would it be of you if you still would be obese??? Do you some times miss something about your old life??? Do you sime times wonder about the people you have met, loved and never knew again from them??? Do you some times feel that you are exactly where you have to be??? Alex

Here you have my answers: Do you some times wonder what would it be of you if you still would be obese??? Perhaps it sounds tragic, but I would probably be dead... befor my surgery it wasn't life. I suffered a lot, but more important I made my family suffered bacause of my condition. It was not a life. Plainly speaking I wasn't able to enjoy of anything, not my children, not my wife and certainly live had no motivations at all... Do you some times miss something about your old life??? No... I miss youth... I am starting to feel ant realize that I am almots 44. Not a bad age but ceratinly I am not a young man any more... I wonder if I could contolled my apitite if I could done more that I did... I certainly miss youth and not being worried for anything Do you sime times wonder about the people you have met, loved and never knew again from them??? Yes... I have met few people in which I really got interested for... and never knew of them any more. I know I can't be intrusive and look for somebody that has shown no interest to keep in touch, but some of them always have a space deep within me and I alwas am wondering what about them.... Do you some times feel that you are exactly where you have to be??? Some times I feel like all that I have gone through had to happened for a reason. I feel blessed after all of that of being whole, healthy, loved. Some times I wonder if I would take differente decisitions what would it be with me and my family??? I feel sooooo blessed on having a job that I enjoy, that is stable and allows me to offer my family a path that will allow them to go on in life without the anguish we had gone through the last few years... Thank goodness I'm friends with both Dawn and Kristi on Myspace and they're alive Do you some times wonder what would it be of you if you still would be obese??? * I know what it would be like. Nothing has changed other than the size of me. I hear the remarks all the time, I see the looks. I am thankful it isn't directed at me, but I am sad it was rerouted to he or she. I do really think about some of the people that were here in the very beginning (the ones that left because of the momentary drama that was here at one point). They were super awesome people and I hope they did and are doing well. Some of the "trouble makers",,,,,,,eh not so much! I love seeing the regulars post though. I'm sure we had the BEST group of people on the boards! Do you some times wonder what would it be of you if you still would be obese??? I've honestly never really thought about it. The thought of being fat again makes me cry though. I ASSUME I'd probably be having more health problems, I doubt I'd be in school, and I know I wouldn't be as active as I am today. Enjoy the present Renee!!! I know that a lot of us think that our lives have improved after the surgery. Some of us have found out that life is more complicated than we expected, but the truth is that we are living a life, and we are enjoying (or suffering) the way of life we have chosen to live. Some of us are able to help our beloved ones in a better position compared to our hability to help others when we were obese and in need. Some others have chosen to start new projects and go back to school, or to work, etc... I hope you are enjoying your life with all the complications and challenges it has for you in particular and all of us in general... Alex

Dear Friend: As I just answered to Renee... you are certainly right... some times we don't chose the place where the life has taken us... some times our situation is more complicated and we would like to have a simplier way of life. You are an amazing person.
