Product Reviews - Snacking!
Hey Everyone!
I just found a really yummy new (to me) snack to munch on. Sounds gross but it is quite good. It is called...
Seapoint Farms Dry Roasted Edamame
If you like edamame (I do!), you will probably love this. It is crunchy and lightly salted...I find it very satisfying!
Here is the nutritional facts...
Serving Size - 1/4 cup
Calories: 130
Fat: 4 g
Cholesterol: 0 mg
Sodium: 150 mg
Total Carb: 10g
Dietary Fiber: 8g
Sugars: 1g
Protein: 14 g!!!
14 grams of protein in a crunchy, salty snack! That's a small slice of heaven to me!! In WW, it is 2 points per serving.
I found them at a nutrition store and also at Food Town in Central Jersey. Amazon has them for a decent price although I recommend trying them before you get a whole case!
Also, I have recently re-discovered Pringles Light (last time I ate them they were called Fat Free Pringles...same deal). They are so yummy and, while not as high in protein as the edamame, still very reasonable. Here is the nutritional info:
Serving Size - 15 crisps!

In WW, these are only ONE point per serving (I am not doing WW, incidentally, but I was thinking about it!). Some people might have problem with olestra. If you do, this is NOT the snack for you!!
Anyhow...for those of you who, like me, still crave salty, crunchy foods, these are viable options!!
Hoping to be helping!
Have a great day!
