Out from lurkdom.....

Since I see that others are 're-appearing', I figure I would 're-appear' as well. My challenge at the moment is trying to get over the FLU. I didn't get a flu shot and got the flu BIG TIME. I am on my third week of it. I went to the doctor right away so she gave me a prescription for Tamiflu - but it didn't work . Apparently my pouch doesn't allow for absorption of the medication - so all the doctor can do is treat the symptoms. I hope the rest of you are doing well and that the flu bug stays away from you........this stuff is NASTY. Rose from PA

Not that having the flu is funny, but one of the first things I recommended after surgery was us all getting the flu shot. Can you believe some were told not to get it? I always get mine, use to put me in the hospital. I have even lined up with the senior's to get one, when they were in short supply. Hope you feel better. I believe they make the tamiflu in a nasal swab too, so if it should ever happen again, that should work.

Hey Rose, good to see you. Bet you thought I had forgotten you. I really haven't. Your package is stitting on my couch waiting to be mailed. I am still finding things to stuff in it. Anyway, I am so sorry that you have the flu. I got the shot and still got the flu. Just take care of yourself and get well. Hazel Oh by the was Rose and I were each others secret pals last year. She was so wonderful and I run late like always. Thanks for all the really cool stuff Rose.
