I'm Turning Into a Lurker
First I want to apologize to everyone for being MIA lately. My new job, which is wonderful, by the way is getting in the way of me living my life
I do check in almost everyday and read posts so I can stay up to date on how everyone is doing. But just haven't had the time to respond to many posts.
I'm out of the house by 6:30 in the morning and not home to almost 7:00 p.m. So as you can see, I don't have much time to myself right now. The good news is that the company will be moving in March to a new location that will cut my commute in half. That should give me a lot of time back so I can play with you all.
I am doing well......bring breakfast and lunch every day and have been eating good things for me. I even found a couple of grea****er bottles that hold 32oz each. One is for cold things that has a straw in the top that you can cover for transporting so it doesn't spill. These were on closeout at Target so I bought a couple in case I break one. And the mouth opening is big enough to get ice from the ice maker into it, so I am really pleased with this one.
The other one, I also got a Target, is called a " Big Bubba". It's an insulated 32oz mug with a great handle and a bottom that fits into my cars cup holder. It will keep hot things hot for 3 hours and cold things cold for up to 12. These days when it's been so cold I have been filling it full of hot "international coffee" sugar free, caffeine free cafe mocha. Boy does it feel good on a cold morning.
So that's about it my darlings. Hope you are all well and taking good care of yourselves. I miss you all tons...but I'm always here in spirit even if not in person.
Sending hugs to all
Ronna
Ronna,
These last few weeks, I am almost a lurker too.
That is a long day. Sorry the commute is so long ... Wayne's commute is just over an hour each way and it sucks! It will be nice for you when they move and you will not have to drive so far.
Good for you having a foodplan and sticking to it. I know when I worked, I ate out almost every meal, B, L and D. Bad, bad, bad. I am proud of you for doing so well!
God Bless!
Jen
Hey Ronna,
As long as we know you're still out here that's what counts! It so wonderful that you're enjoying your new job so much. I know you'll be happy when you don't have to travel so far. It makes for a terribly long day.
I'm going to have to look for one of those insulated mugs! I need my hot drink or I freeze to death.
Keep us posted on how you're doing.
Hugs,
Anna
Glad to hear all is going well and that the commute will soon decrease. Being out on the highways can add a lot of stress to the day!!
Look at the label for those international coffees - they are sugar free but LOADED with the super bad kinda fat. I know, I was bummed as I thought they tasted pretty good...which they do because of all the bad stuff in it. At Starbucks you can buya bottle of their SF syrups which taste yummy - they do have Splenda in it. The SF Cinnamon Dolce is my favorite...or the gingerbread...I guess it depends on the day!
Be well!
Hugs,
Tiffany
