Hi! Whatcha eatin for the New Year!
I hope everyone brought the New Year's in with a bang. 2008 is a year of new beginnings so I hope it's just that for everyone! I came into the New Year with a smile on my face....i weighed in at 179 Christmas Eve and I weighed myself again New Years Eve. 172!!! I think that's great for a week's time. Working out and eating right does work. Anyway, here's my menu for today and do something new....post! New beginnings!
1 sausage patty, 1/2 pkt. grits
2c. calorie CC choc milk
2 buffalo wings, 1 spare rib, 1/2c. tunafish on 1/2 whole wheat wrap
For dinner I'll have some meatloaf and broccoli
I need some more protein so I'll probably have 2 protein vials
Fluids: 44 oz. so far...
Exercise: 45 mins. Cardio Tai Box...hard class!!
Vitamins: none yet

I am so happy the holidays are over! No more sweets and carbs!! I'm so sick of eating junk! Today I got back on track. I was 182 before christmas and now I'm 187. That's 5 lbs. worth of sweet potato pie, mashed potatoes and holiday cookies.
Anyway, Here's my menu...
Breakfast: Adkins latte shake
Snack: 1 slice of roast beef
Lunch: Grilled pork chop
Snack: Adkins protein bar
Snack: Few cheese cubes
Dinner: Roast beef, collard greens and lil potato salad
Snack: Protein shake
That's it for me!

My holiday eating was pretty good - I did indulge but not overstuffing myself. Here's today:
1 egg and a big tsp of creamy artichoke dip leftover
The buffet at the local Indian place - spinich, chicken, lentils, few bites garlic naan, few bites lamb with peas
whey shake with soy milk
slice meat lasagne and some salad
glass red wine
