I just heard from Valerie S. She is on the way to the ER with a burning, muscular excrutiating pain in her "stomach" and a lower back pain. Her gallbladder was already removed. Anyone had a similar experience? Jersery what did the twisted bowel feel like? Please say a quick prayer too! God Bless! Jen

Could very well be an ulcer. Which is probubly the best thing, as it wont include surgery. But yes, the pain can be so bad, it causes spasms. Now she needs to make sure they get her surgeon involved. Our ulcers aren't in the stomach, they are in the intestine and someone who doesn't know, wont find it. So please get the info to them. They might have to use a scope, again, not know what to do can cause problems and not find the ulcer or other problem. Hope she is ok.

Hey Jen: I am sorry I did not see this yesterday. Do you have any updates on her?? My pain was right at my belly button...and radiated to my back. It felt VERY much like a gallbladder pain (I do not have one, either...not since 1996)...but the pain was multiplied by 100! I did not feel any burning. I wonder if she has a bleeding ulcer? I am glad she went to the ER. Please let us know if you hear from her... Love and hugs, JM
