News ...

Went to see my DR. My thyroid med was off so that might be the reason why my body was freaking out for no apparent reason. Also my iron (again) is super low so I'm back on those stupid pills, but all other vitamin levels were just fine which is great news! Now the really great news, my loan come through for my plastic surgery. I have another consult with a different surgeon tomorrow morning. The bad news is, because it's on such short notice I still might not be able to get it done at the end of this month or first week of Jan (because of my school schedule and having at least 2 weeks off to recover) so I still may have to wait until May, or maybe March if I decide to just try it on a one week spring break. I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much though, but it would be a wonderful way to start the new year. Well I'm off to study and finish out this hell week of finals. I was eating 1200 cals a day, ON days 4 and 5 of RYP diet, which means it was all protein, no junk, and I was still gaining.

Renee although medical problems are never good news, this one could be considered just that. Perhaps that is why you have been struggling....I wish you the best! As for the people who ASSume about your eating habits (not sure who) but the hell with the naysayers. Keep your chin up and good luck with your plastics..... Hugs, Chris

thank you Rhonda!!! I need all the luck I can get. I lost my 4.0 GPA this semester because nursing classes have higher grading scales so 90 percent is only a B. Ugh!!! Happy Holidays!

just what most people assume, and I'm far far FAR from perfect, but at least if I was stuffing my face, I'd know where the weight was coming from and couldn't be as pissed!!! I haven't been on the scale since.... um... because of my tantrum, my b/f took it away. Oops!

I'm glad you found out that some things were "out of whack" and fixable. And congrats on the loan! I know for me PS is a hope for the future. Got to get back to work and save some money first - Oh and have time available to take off for the surgery. Depending on what you want done - one week may be cutting it close.

I know it would be cutting it way close and they might not do it if they know... even if I'd just be going to school you wouldn't think that would be a big deal... you don't lift anything (except the book bag and with my schedule it won't be so heavy!!! Better safe than sorry then messing something like that up right!!! It's hard actually, there's a million different things, literally, that I could do with the money at this time but .... it's just so important!!!! Hope you have a great holiday!!!
