Hump Day Menu!

Geez, I can't believe it's Wednesday already! Where is the time going??? I'm moving to New York next week, and the time's just going way too fast for me. Anyway, nothing too exciting today. Went to the gym for a light workout. My sports bras are too small. I guess I didn't expect that but I should've. On to food! B- 1 scram egg w/cheese, 1/2 chicken italian sausage L- 3 buffalo bites, 4 sm. potato wedges, sm. salad w/RF cheese on top & croutons D- I'll be having some chicken and lima beans S- I'll have a protein shake later Going out later for a couple drinks and I'll have some soup if I feel hungry. April

B~protein yogurt with a few grapenuts L~protein yogurt with a few grapenuts S~Geman bologne sand on WW bread D~ Not sure yet. Will not eat until I get home from work at 10pm Hazel

Okay I don't think I've ever done this and now I know why!!! How the hell can you guys eat so little? I know I maintained my 138ish on 1200 cals and I've probably been eating more like ... way too much obviously!!! Guess I have to plan on counting cals every day for the rest of my life!!! So here's what I had... (this is going to be a LONG list compared to you guys!!!) B- string cheese, 2 ritz crackers L- sandwich (2 slices of light wheat bread, light mayo, mustard, ham, beef, tomato) 1/2 serving of uhhhhhhhh potato chips (whopping 6 chips!) 2 mini pickles S- popcorn D- will be pork, small baked potato w/topping, green beans Total of 1,1193 cals Yeah not the best food choices, guess there's no dessert for me tonight!! Now if I can only dump the popcorn and chips and potato topping out of there, I might be okay??!!!?? 60 mins on treadmill.

Hey pop corn is a great snack food, don't dump it, but how are you making it? If it is in a bag, or an oil popper, then yes, dump it. Too many fat calories. Get the Proctor Pop Corn popper for the micro wave, a wopping $13 at Walmart. All you get is popcorn, no fat. Then use I can't believe its not butter spray and make it like the movies. You can have the whole batch for around 100 to 150 calories, and there is alot of popcorn there. Potatoes, yes, you might want to dump those or at least limit them. 1200 calories is a great number to shoot for. The choice can make it a good calorie or bad calorie though. Also, the toppings. Try the spray on the potatoes too, that will reduce the calories alot. Good luck and great on the tread mill. I need to find a way to work in a gym time again in my life.

Hi there! It was the bag popcorn but the 94 percent fat free stuff. It's probably still not as good as doing it your way. I had one of those poppers but I thnk it got lost some how in the move! Weird! I am going to get another! I love that spray butter. I used to use it on EVERYTHING, then quiet and used light butter, which is still 50 cals. I don't do potatoes a lot, and I did use the potatoe sr cream.chive topping. It's just so good!!! haha 1200 is what I maintain on (so far) It's pretty hard not to eat at all and try to dump the weight fast, but I'm trying to do it right! It sucks there's no time for the gym doesn't it? I've done 2 days on the treadmill now but we'll have to see if it stays. My current load for this week isn't as busy as normal. Hugs!

I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong with what you're eating. We're maintaining our weight, you're working out as well, and we're not 3 months post op anymore. We're going to be eating more normal!!! Girl, relax....you're doing fine. And even though that's what we post, I think most people are eating more later in the evening but just don't post the next day or forget. I know I do!! Be easy on yourself. I think that's a great menu. April

thank you!!!! i know the 1200 is okay, just the food choices need to be better and I think for the last 2 weeks at least I've been probably over 2000 cal? I know I CAN eat quite a bit. I've never really had any food aversions too badly except lactose. Or I'll blame the halloween candy like everyone else Hugs !!!
