Hi every body!!! Today is a beautiful day here in Guadalajara!!! I wish all of you a beautiful shinny day... Yesterday I have thought about all we are saying here about gaining weight and problems to mantain our goals, and the need to go back on track, etc... It is evident (at least for me) that we are not doing well. We are doing something wrong. We have to make changes here. We have to sacrifice something to make us go in the right way. Soooo... what is your commitment for this week? Every one of us know what is wrong. What is the price to pay in order to hit our weight goal. The way is made step by step. We have to make the change little by little, step by step. We need to commit here with ourselves to make a little change that will make us approach one step to our goal... My commitment for this week is to stay out of garbage food. I will not touch ANYTHING thas has sugar or fats. No TRIGGERING food at all... No matter if it is light or not... if it is sugarless or not. I will replace those food with fruits and vegetables. I will drink enough water too keep my compultions under control. I know I NEED major changes... I need to work out hard... but I don't see it coming this week. This week I am only going to stay out of triggering food. Who is with me? Who wants to make a little sacrifice this week? Who wants to walk a step to his - her goal? Come on!!! we can do it!!! I know that we can hit our goals as a team... this is for our own good!!! one little sacrifice this week for a longer and healthier life!!! Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico

Hi Alex, Well here in Chicago is is just plain cold. Yes the sun is shinning but the wind is wipping around so hard that it just goes through you and I'm cold. So I couldn't have my protein shake for lunch had soup instead --- but I did put some protein powder in it so it was still good for me. I will be good to myself this week by keeping warm and not having any processes carbs....no white flour. I will also try and get in at least 2 excersise sessiions other than my walks. That's a start! Alejandro, I was so pleased to see this post this afternoon. I have been lurking with the group for about a week now, trying to gain the courage to join back in. I, too, have seen the scale creep up a few pounds and am eating like crap (I seriously don't know how I haven't gained more than I have). I began yesterday with the goal of increasing my protein (I had been getting virtually none), cutting out the crap and getting back to the gym. So far, so good. I've had protein shakes both yesterday and today and have been good about choosing protein snacks instead of processed carbs. I also went to the gym both days. So, thanks again for the opportunity to make commitment in writing. It definitely helps solidify it my mind. Lisa S.

My Goodness Lisa!!! What a wonderful surprise!!! I did not recognize you at all!!! You look fantastic...!!! I am so pleased that you got the idea... It is in fact the little changes that will make our success long for a long term of time. We have to change our old bad habits for new healthy ones. It represents sacrifice, yes but we can do it little by little. Every single time I say NO!!! to a compultion to go to the cupboard for peanut butter and bread... or to icecream or candy, etc... it is one little victory to the other to the other. At the end of the week the scale will go to the side of victories (if we sticked to our commitment with a series of little vitories) going down... or to the lost battles if we had no control of us and the scale surely will go up. I am really proud of you that you have done it right since yesterday... you have all my moral support... GO GIRL!!! I am so pleased to say HELLO back to you!!! Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico
