ALEX, This is awful I hope it is not someone from our board that would be worse. I think you did the right thing asking that they be blessed, that is like how I like to respond to people who are unkind to me. I think you know we all love each other here be it Jew, Catholic Christian, not sure whatever, we are all people supporting each other. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND TORI

Thanks for your support Tori. I honestly don't think the attack came from one of us. The fact is that I have received and exchange a lot of emails from people ot this forum and other forums. It could come from anywhere... Have a great weekend yourself!!! Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico

Hey Alex, At first glance I thought this was a joke or a forwarded type of email...it wasn't until I got to number 3 that my eyebrows went up and my jaw dropped. I am sincerely sorry that any person would ever say such hateful things. EVERY one of us on OH knows what it is like to be belittled. I find it very hard to believe that someone here would have the audacity to send you private emails using such harsh words. Any person's religious beliefs should never be criticized. I can say that in the past 5 years or so my faith went from neutral, to completely devoted, to crushed, to pretty much non-exsistant. With that said....in each of those phases in my life I never put down another person for not having the same convictions as myself. That is a very personal thing and whatever YOUR relationship is between YOU and whatever higher power you follow is no one else's business. NO PERSON WALKING ON THIS EARTH HAS A HEAVEN OR A HELL TO PUT ANYONE IN. I hope the coward that chose to send you hate emails comes forward on here and reveals themself. Again...sorry you are dealing with this. Dawn

Hi Dawn: Thanks for your sincerity. It is the sincere feelings we exchange here at this forum what makes it what it is. Some times we can have differences between us. But we have always gone through all of it. We have gone through a lot of things good and not so good but as far as I know we have confronted ourselves face to face here at the forum or out of it. What this people made so despicable was to write an anounimous letter. It defeats me without any deffense. That's why I decided to write the open letter. We can't stand over a cowardly action like that. Best Regards Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico

My dear dear Alex, I am so appalled that anyone would say the kind of things that have apparently been said. It is horrible. You are such a positive part of this board, and we appreciate you more than words can say. It makes me so angry that anyone would refer to you as a "filthy Mexican". All of my grandchildren are 1/2 hispanic. One's daddy was from El Salvador and the rest from Mexico. Their daddy's were no different from anyone born and breed right here in the US. They all had good points and bad points just like every other human being. I live in an area that has a high hispanic population that were not born in the US, and I truely enjoy the things they have brought with them from their culture. Having so many in my own family, we have combined both cultures in our lives and it has only improved our lives. As far as being Catholic, what the hey. We have many many Catholics in this country, too. All of my children and grandchildren are Catholic. I am not, but I do go to Mass with them sometimes. Stay proud of who and what you are. That is the way the good Lord made you. Hazel

Dear Hazel: These people made damage in the same way we allow them to affect us. I decided not to be affected for somebody with lack of few nuts. It is not normal to do what they did. God Bless them... We know who we are. We have a personality and nothing will change that. I know who I am and few words will not change my utter feelings of myself and the way I feel for all of you. It is annoying, yes, but not worst that a mosquito in the middle of the night!!! Your words and your love and the words and love of all the people here makes all the difference to me... Sincerely Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico

Alex, Do you want mama Jen to kick some booty? We love you! To the dogs with the person who does not. For English being your second languarge, I think you do extremely well with the written word. Predjuice just ****** me off. Two of my kids are half black, that is their DNA, that is who they are, just like you are Mexican. This is who God made them and you to be. Catholic ? Huh ? I do not know what your letter said about your religion but the bible says ... Luke 6:37"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Of course you need to have discernment but that is different from judgement. Also......the verses before these talk about being merciful and loving your enemies . Smile happily and love us that love you! God Bless! Jen

Dear Jen: I don't think that these people deserve our attention at all. They will not show their faces. I am sure of it. They are cowards hiding in the dark. Thanks for your words. They are comforting. I realize that my English must "sound" strange to all of you. I am sure that smart people like yourselves realize that my funny way of expresing is not a sign of stupidity or that you are dealing with a second grade guy. I am a full person. I have values, education and spirit, I have love to share and am willing to receive it myself. I am not happy to be honest but I am not out of balance or feeling disqualified or nothing of that sort. I am proud to be part of the forum. I feel like one of you. Nothing that these people said will make me feel as an outsider. Hugs Alejandro González Ponce
